Then you download form the Cloud to your Mac. The data transfer entails syncing your database to the Quicken Cloud. I tried one more time to go to Quicken for Mac about 2 years age. I’ve been on QFW for at least 20 years (since Microsoft Money went out of business). Running Windows 11 on Parallels to run QFW. For what I use it for (see above) all the features were there for Mac that I was using for Windows. I've been using both because I am reluctant to give up on using the windows version. Last year I did try to transfer data back from Mac to Windows and the data didn't transfer as well back to Windows as it did the other way. For me, it's easier to read the screen and it's no problem at all for me to use. Two years later, I prefer the Mac version. There was a bit of a learning curve of how the Mac version worked but after a month or so I was able to get more familiar with how to use it. Transferring data went fairly well with some minor edits needed. Just go to Quicken's website and download it) My experience is that Quicken has a different appearance between the two. (It didn't cost any more to download the Mac version if you already have the Windows version. I have used Quicken since 1996 on windows and started using it on my Mac during the pandemic in 2020 just to see how it works and I have been using both ever since. I also run Quicken on both my 2015 MacBook and on my PC laptop. I also download transactions for these accounts. I use Quicken for bank accounts, credit card and several investment accounts.
